Restore from a recovery point
Restore a Site or independent database and understand the safety checks that can block destructive restore.
Use a verified recovery point from Backups & Recovery or the relevant Site/database workspace.
Before restore
Check the recovery point date, destination, size and consistency information. Understand whether you are restoring files, a database or the complete supported Site state.
Control can create a safety recovery before a destructive restore so the current state is not discarded without a recovery path.
Independent database restore is blocked while the database is attached when restoring it in place would conflict with an active Site relationship. Detach it first when the UI requires that step.
After restore, open the Site or application and verify its own health and data, not only the operation result.
