Fail2ban

The Fail2ban section shows the jails that are already active on the server and their current counters.

Control can issue a limited Ban IP or Unban IP action against an active jail. It does not provide a general browser editor for Fail2ban jail definitions.

If the jail you expect is missing, configure or enable that jail using the supported host administration method first, then refresh Security.

Use Fail2ban for repeated abusive authentication/application behaviour; use UFW for network access policy. They solve different problems.

Each listed banned address has its own Unban action so the selected jail and address remain explicit even on narrower screens.
