Create your first Site
Create a test Site and verify the basic hosting workflow before moving production traffic.
A Site is the main hosted-workload object in Control. Start with a disposable hostname so you can test the complete workflow safely.
Create the Site
- Open Sites and select Create Site.
- Enter the hostname.
- Choose the runtime. Control shows runtimes and versions available on the host and can guide you to install missing supported components.
- Choose an optional database and cache where the selected runtime supports them.
- Review any runtime-specific fields.
- Leave Enable Let's Encrypt HTTPS after Site creation selected only when the hostname already points at this server and port 80 is reachable.
- Generate the plan, review it, then create the Site.
Verify it
Open the Site workspace and confirm:
- the Site reaches RUNNING;
- Health becomes HEALTHY;
- the public placeholder or your application loads;
- HTTPS becomes valid if requested;
- Storage opens the Site's virtual file areas;
- SFTP works with a public key if you need external file transfer.
Once this succeeds, repeat the process for a real workload or follow the migration guides for an existing site.
