Services

Start, stop, restart or reload supported hosting services without exposing arbitrary system services.

Control shows server service state but only offers lifecycle actions for supported hosting services.

Typical manageable services include the web server, installed PHP-FPM versions, supported SQL servers, Redis, Docker and Fail2ban where present.

Choose the service and the offered action. Use reload when available for a configuration refresh that should not require a full restart.

Core management, SSH/networking and arbitrary system services are intentionally not exposed as general browser start/stop controls. Use the server's normal administration path for unsupported service work.

Boot persistence

Service-backed Components installed by Control are enabled for boot as part of their managed installation. Control verifies that persistent enablement and current service state before the install operation completes.

If a server reboot leaves one of those still-enabled Component services unexpectedly inactive or failed after normal boot processing, Control can make one limited recovery start attempt after the management agent returns. A service that has been explicitly disabled is not re-enabled by this recovery path.
