PHP Sites
Create and tune PHP Sites using an installed supported PHP version.
Choose PHP when the application is served by PHP-FPM.
Create the Site
Select an installed PHP version. If the required version is available through Control's supported Components but not yet installed, install it before generating the Site plan.
You can optionally create a Site database and Redis cache during Site creation.
Site settings
PHP Sites expose supported memory, upload, POST, execution-time and PHP-FPM capacity controls. Prefer the default/automatic values unless the application documents a specific requirement.
Application files
Use Storage, SFTP or Git deployment to place the application in the Site. If the application has its own installer, complete that installer through the Site after the runtime is healthy.
Distribution PHP version
The default PHP runtime installed through Components follows the supported operating system's package stream. That means two healthy Control hosts can expose different PHP versions—for example Debian stable and Ubuntu LTS may ship different distribution-default PHP branches. Site creation shows the version actually installed or available on the current host rather than pretending all supported distributions provide the same release.
