Schedule backups
Create Site and independent-database backup schedules after choosing a destination.
If Site schedule is unavailable and no destinations exist, select Set up backups. Control guides you through destination creation first and then the schedule.
Site schedule
- Choose the Site.
- Choose the backup destination.
- Choose the interval offered by Control.
- Choose how many recovery points to retain.
- Enable the policy.
The Backups page shows the last result and next scheduled run.
Independent database schedule
Independent MariaDB/PostgreSQL resources use their own backup policy. Their schedule continues even when the database is attached to a Site because attachment does not transfer ownership.
