Node.js Sites
Run a Node.js web application with an explicit entry point and package manager.
Choose Node.js for a Node web application.
During Site creation, choose the installed Node.js version, the application entry point and package manager. The application listens behind the Site's managed web entry point; you do not need to expose the application port publicly.
Use Runtime environment for configuration values and secrets instead of committing secrets to the repository. Git deployment can install and promote a new application revision using the Site's selected package manager.
Background workers and scheduled jobs can run Node entry points or supported package scripts independently of the web process.
