Control settings

Use Server → Settings for Control-wide preferences and the management address. Use a Site's own settings for website-specific options.

General

Set the Panel Hostname, optional Public Management URL, display timezone and update channel. Choose the time zone used for displayed dates; this does not change the server's operating-system timezone.

Use the stable update channel for production. Additional release-source settings are under Advanced Release Sources; leave the default sources alone unless you intentionally use another authorised signed source.

Management

The Management section shows how you access Control and its current connection status. Configure a trusted HTTPS certificate for your management hostname before using the panel over the public internet. A connection marked HTTPS does not by itself prove that your browser trusts the certificate.

Open Recovery Tools for the supported export, verify and restore commands. These commands must be run from an administrator shell; opening the section does not start a recovery operation. See Recover Control itself.

Appearance

Set the product name, optional company name and browser title. You can also choose a sign-in logo and compact mark. Use the supported PNG picker and Save Appearance to apply your changes.

Show host branding on sign-in controls whether the host's custom identity appears before sign-in. This setting does not change the branding of an individual reseller account.

Session policy

Choose the idle-session timeout and absolute session lifetime that suit your administration policy. Save Settings to apply changes; shortening a session lifetime may require users to sign in again sooner.

Changing the management address

Before changing the management hostname or public URL, confirm DNS, certificate coverage and how you will reconnect. Keep an independent SSH login available in case the browser address stops working.
