Update Control

Check, install and recover Control and operating-system updates.

Use Server → Updates to check for supported Control releases and manage operating-system updates.

Update Control

  1. Choose Check Control Release to review the installed version and available verified release.
  2. If an update is offered, review it and select Update Control.
  3. Follow the operation status. You can close your browser while Control finishes the server-side update.
  4. Reconnect and confirm the version shown in Control.

Control uses versioned releases with integrity checks. Do not copy individual scripts, binaries or interface files into an installed release; use the full authorised update path.

Operating-system updates

Refresh the package inventory, select eligible updates and apply them. Some system updates need a server reboot; schedule it with your hosted applications in mind.

Recover from a failed Control update

Use the previous-release recovery action or the supported administrator rollback utility documented with your installed Control release. A software rollback does not automatically reverse Site data changes.
