Full Site Exports
Create and deliver a temporary portable Site package without treating the Micro CMS spool as retention storage.
A Full Site Export is a portable Site package for transfer or off-site retention. The copy held by Micro CMS is temporary delivery state, not long-term backup storage.
Create an export
- Open System → Backups & Restore.
- Choose Create Full Site Export.
- Allow the background operation to finish.
- Download the package before the displayed expiry.
- Store the downloaded package in the destination you control.
Temporary delivery copy
Micro CMS removes completed export packages after delivery or expiry according to the displayed retention window. Do not use the temporary copy as your only retained backup.
Storage capacity
A large export needs enough temporary storage to create the package. Bridge Hosts can provide Host-managed export capacity for managed Silos; a standalone Site uses the storage available to its installation.
Restore a delivered package
Before applying a Full Site Export, Micro CMS creates a Safety Recovery Point of the destination Site. If the safety point cannot be created, the restore does not begin. After the portable package has uploaded successfully, restore work continues in the background; you can close the browser and return to Backups & Restore to review progress.
