Background processing fallback
Configure a server scheduler only when Micro CMS reports that automatic background processing cannot run reliably.
A hosting scheduler is an optional fallback when Micro CMS reports that normal automatic background processing is unavailable or when your hosting policy requires scheduled execution.
When to use it
Do not add a scheduler as a routine installation step. First confirm the problem in System → Background Jobs and Site Health → Diagnostics.
Scheduled task
When required, configure the hosting scheduler to run the installation's tasks.php with the site's PHP command once per minute. Hosting panels may call this Cron Jobs, Scheduled Tasks or Scheduled Commands.
* * * * * php /path/to/site/tasks.php >/dev/null 2>&1Use the correct PHP version
The scheduled command must use a PHP version that meets the same Micro CMS requirements as the website. If the hosting panel provides several PHP command paths, use the one that matches the Site.
Security
Do not weaken PHP or web-server security settings simply to avoid configuring the supported scheduler fallback.
