Bridge lifecycle

Deactivate, reactivate or decommission a Bridge Host with the Bridge Owner safety controls.

Bridge lifecycle controls belong to the Bridge Owner. Open Bridge → Security → Access, then open the Bridge Owner account to reach the ownership controls.

Deactivate Bridge

Deactivate Bridge takes effect immediately without deleting the estate. Bridge management pauses while Silos, placements, Nodes, policies, history and configuration are retained for reactivation.

Reactivate Bridge

The Bridge Owner can reactivate a deactivated Host when its licence and ownership state allow it.

Decommission Bridge

Only the Bridge Owner can start decommission. Fresh owner re-authentication is required. Bridge deactivates immediately and enters a fixed 72-hour cancellation window; destructive cleanup does not run during that hold.

Cancel decommission

The Bridge Owner can cancel during the hold. Cancellation leaves Bridge deactivated until it is explicitly reactivated.

After the cancellation window

Bridge-owned Host management state is removed and the control Site returns to normal Solo operation. Data on remote or customer-operated Execution Nodes is not deleted as part of Bridge decommission.

Security alerts

When Mail is configured, scheduling or cancelling decommission generates the supported security notification and audit record.
