Light and Advanced View
Understand Light View, Advanced View and per-user Light View customisation without changing permissions.
Micro CMS provides Light View and Advanced View for the normal Site Admin. They change how much interface is shown by default; they do not change what your account is allowed to do.
Light View
Light View keeps everyday publishing, design, audience, recovery and site-management tasks easy to reach. Deeper operational and technical controls stay out of the way while the site is healthy.
Advanced View
Advanced View exposes the full set of Admin surfaces available to your role, including deeper diagnostics, resource editing and operational controls.
Customise Light View
Use Customise Light View to add eligible advanced pages or controls to your own Light View. This is a personal presentation preference and does not affect other users.
Important conditions still surface
A hidden advanced area does not hide a condition that needs attention. When action is required, Micro CMS can surface the relevant warning or entry point from Overview, Site Health or the affected page.
Bridge
Bridge uses its own Host operations interface and is not split into Light and Advanced View. When you enter an individual Silo Admin, the normal Site Admin view preference applies there.
