Connect WordPress Importer
Connect WordPress Importer to the temporary Migration Bridge and analyse the source.
WordPress Importer runs in Micro CMS. The Migration Bridge provides the temporary source connection from WordPress.
Create the connection
- Open Extensions → Importers in Micro CMS and choose WordPress Importer.
- Enter the normal public WordPress site address.
- Paste the current Migration Bridge token.
- Choose the imported publication state. Import everything as draft is the safest option for most first migrations.
- Save/connect and choose Analyse source.
Analyse before importing
Analysis discovers what the source contains and builds the review list. It should not be treated as permission to import everything automatically. Use the result to decide the first migration stage.
If the source changes later
After completing one stage, use Re-analyse source for next stage when you are ready to bring in another group. This lets you migrate a large site progressively rather than trying to commit it all at once.
