Recovery Points
Create and restore retained Recovery Points, including automatic protection for managed Silos.
Recovery Points provide retained Site-local protection before risky data changes and supported recovery work.
Create a Recovery Point
Use Backups & Restore on a normal Site, or the selected Silo Control Centre on Bridge. Wait for the new Recovery Point to report that it is ready before depending on it.
Managed protection
Bridge → Convergence → Protection shows which eligible Silos are protected, due or currently creating a Recovery Point. Routine protection follows Host policy automatically.
Restore a stored point
Restore from the authorised Site or Silo recovery surface. Before replacing anything, Micro CMS creates a Safety Recovery Point of the current Site state so the restore can itself be reversed. If that safety capture cannot complete, the restore does not begin.
Follow progress
Recovery work continues in the background. You can leave the page and return later; use the displayed operation state rather than starting the same restore again.
If protection fails
Automatic protection can retry recoverable failures. Operator action is needed when Micro CMS reports Needs Attention or gives a specific error that must be corrected.
Recovery Points and exports
Recovery Points are retained Site-local protection. Use a Full Site Export when you need a portable package outside Micro CMS.
