Resource Packs

Import, install and update Resource Packs where Site/Host policy makes those capabilities available.

Resource Packs bundle supported Site Resources and optional content into an installable package. They are useful for starter sites, themes, design systems and other reusable Site setups.

Installed packs keep the Installed status; Host-owned packs show Managed by Host separately.

1. Import the pack

When local package import is available, open Design → Resource Packs and import the approved ZIP, or use a pack already available to the Site. Importing adds the package to the Resource Pack Library; it does not change the live Site.

2. Review & Install

When installation is available, open the Library item and choose Review & Install. Review what will be created, updated or left unchanged, and resolve any conflict or locally edited Resource before continuing.

Automatic updates

On Solo or the Bridge Host, Resource Pack automatic updates are a local update policy. On a managed Site, Host policy defines the default and may optionally delegate the Site's preference. Automatic Pack updates preserve local conflict ownership rather than overwriting locally edited Resources blindly.

Background execution

Pack preparation and installation are durable operations and use the same automatic execution broker as other Background Jobs. The operation panel shows queued/running/completed state and offers retry where a genuinely interrupted operation needs it.

Prepared Installs

If you leave after reviewing a pack, the prepared comparison can be resumed from Prepared Installs. A prepared install is not live yet.

Current packs

If the installed version already matches and there is nothing to create, update or resolve, the pack is shown as Current.
