Admin overview
Understand the current Micro CMS Admin areas and System navigation order.
Admin is grouped by the job you are trying to do. You do not need to learn every area before publishing your first Page.
Content
Pages and Posts contain normal site content. Categories and Tags organise Posts. Patterns store reusable authored sections, Collections group selected content, and Media contains uploaded files.
Design
Site Design is the normal place to change colours, type, widths and site-wide presentation. Designs, Templates, Headers, Footers, Navigation, Sidebars and other Resources are available when you need more control.
Audience and interactions
Forms and Inbox handle form submissions. Subscribers stores subscription records. Comments, Moderation, Reports and Participants cover site interaction features when they are enabled.
Insights
Search controls the site search experience. Queries create reusable content selections. Analytics and Popular Content show the site's own activity data when those features are in use.
System
The primary System navigation is ordered Site Settings, Profile, Users, Site Health, Mail Settings, Redirects & 404s, Background Jobs and Backups & Restore. Site Health combines exception-first Overview, deeper Diagnostics and Housekeeping in one workspace. Other advanced maintenance surfaces remain available where the current Site and role support them.
Security and Extensions
Security contains sign-in policy, package verification, Audit Logs, Media Settings and Privacy Settings. Extensions contains Installed Extensions, Applications, Importers and Integrations.
Admin navigation
Admin uses two navigation rails. The narrow primary rail selects the major area, and the contextual rail shows the tools for that area. Both rail headers align to the 52px top bar and use the same straight light left-edge active indicator. Account/Profile is at the bottom of the primary rail; Updates and the installed Core version remain at the bottom of the contextual rail. Execution Node Admin uses the same shell. On narrower screens the contextual rail is fully off-canvas while closed, then opens as a drawer beside the retained primary rail.
Light and Advanced View
Light View keeps common work prominent, while Advanced View exposes deeper controls. Switching view does not change permissions.
Bridge Hosts
When Bridge is enabled, a Bridge section appears above the normal Site controls. Use it for Host-level work such as Sites, Scheduler, Convergence, Host Fabric and Site policy; use the ordinary Admin sections for the current Silo.
