Install Cornerstone Migrator
Install Cornerstone Migrator on the WordPress site where the source content currently lives.
Install the Migrator on the WordPress site that contains the Cornerstone-authored content. Back up WordPress before changing live content.
Before installation
Confirm WordPress itself is stable and important Cornerstone Pages open normally. Avoid converting content while another update or theme migration is in progress.
Install
- Open Plugins → Add New Plugin in WordPress.
- Choose Upload Plugin and select the approved Cornerstone Migrator ZIP.
- Install and activate it.
- Open the Cornerstone Migrator area and review the available source items before changing anything.
Keep a source backup
The product provides conversion safeguards, but that does not replace a proper WordPress backup. Keep the backup until all converted content has been reviewed and the Migrator has been removed cleanly.
