Design → Design Contracts contains coordinated Site Design choices for a site.

What a Design Contract covers

A Design Contract can set appearance, typography, layout, archive defaults and the normal Page and Post presentation. Some contracts also provide additional controls for their own layout.

Switching contracts

Choose another Design Contract when you want a different overall presentation. Check the public Header, Templates and important Page/Post layouts after switching.

Resource Packs

Resource Packs can include a Design Contract together with compatible Headers, Footers and Templates. Review local changes before applying a newer pack version.

Contract coverage

First-party Starter, Advanced, Studio and Development packs are validated against the complete Core Site Design contract. Their normal Page/Post/archive templates consume native {{page.content}} composition and inherit Site Design defaults; special landing or application templates remain explicit exceptions.
