Configure and check the site's built-in search experience.
Search helps visitors find published site content. Use the Admin Search area to review the search feature itself rather than editing individual Pages or Posts.
What visitors can find
Normal site search is for published public content. Drafts and private material should not appear simply because an editor can see them in Admin.
Test important terms
Search for the site name, major products, common article titles and likely visitor wording. If an important Page is difficult to find, improve its title and content before trying to compensate with duplicate Pages.
Search presentation
The Search results listing can use its own archive style in Site Design. Keep result cards compact enough that visitors can scan several matches quickly.
