Updates

Prepare Bridge-owned updates, govern delegated package updates and follow Node-Core work.

Bridge Updates manages the Host and registered Execution Node software that Bridge owns, while managed Sites retain only the package capabilities allowed by Host policy.

Host updates

The normal Bridge Host update keeps Core and Bridge software aligned. Core Only remains available when public Core needs to advance independently of Bridge licence or recovery state.

Execution Node updates

Registered Nodes show their current software state and available Node + Core update action. Bridge can wake a Node before checking or applying an update so an idle Node is not treated as unavailable merely because its last status is old.

Automatic updates

Automatic update options are shown only for roles that exist on the installation: Core for a Solo Site, Bridge + Core for an active Bridge Host, and Node + Core for registered Execution Nodes.

Managed Sites

Resource Pack and Extension updates follow Host policy. A managed Site sees only the controls it is allowed to use and may see Managed by Host where that status is useful.

History

Update history identifies whether an executable update was Core, Core Only, Core + Bridge or a Node update and records the final result.
