Run and review the import
Run a selected WordPress migration stage, let background work finish and review the destination before continuing.
A migration stage should be treated like a controlled batch: start it once, allow it to finish, then review the Micro CMS result before planning the next stage.
Start the stage
Review the selected count and any warnings, then start the import. Large Media transfers and content conversion can continue through Background Jobs after you leave the page.
Watch progress
Use the migration status and Background Jobs rather than starting the same stage repeatedly. If automatic background processing cannot start, Micro CMS will tell you and the fallback guidance can be used.
Review imported content
- Open several imported Pages and Posts in Admin.
- Preview the destination routes in the active Micro CMS Design.
- Check Media, galleries, embeds and links.
- Look for items explicitly marked for review.
- Check route conflicts before publishing imported drafts.
Plan the next stage
When the first group is correct, complete that stage and re-analyse the same WordPress source for the next group. Do not reopen a completed stage merely to add unrelated content.
