First setup
The checks worth doing before you begin normal publishing.
A fresh Core installation works immediately as a normal Site. Complete these checks before importing large amounts of data or activating Bridge.
1. Check Site Health
Open System → Site Health. Resolve anything marked as an error before importing a Site or installing a large pack. Use Diagnostics when deeper runtime or package information is needed.
2. Test Media
Open Security → Media Settings, review upload limits, then upload and open representative Media.
3. Configure Mail
Open System → Mail Settings, enter sender and delivery details, then send a test message. Test password recovery, Forms or double opt-in paths before launch when used.
4. Confirm background work
Open System → Background Jobs. Normal background work starts automatically and continues after you leave Admin. Use the scheduler fallback only when Micro CMS reports that automatic processing cannot start reliably.
5. Create initial protection
Create appropriate recovery protection before major imports, storage changes or Bridge activation.
6. Review Site Settings
Confirm Site Title, public URL, language, timezone and Under Construction state.
7. Activate Bridge only when required
A Bridge Host is promoted from a completed Core installation. Open Profile → Activate Bridge and follow the owner activation flow. There is no separate Bridge-first installer.
